Asiatic cheetahs caught on camera
"Once ranging from the Red Sea to India, the Asiatic cheetah today numbers fewer than 60 animals on the entire Asian continent, mostly on Iran's arid central plateau."

This is so cool! The Mughals used Asian cheetahs for hunting -- they were quite common a few hundred years ago, and now they are all gone from India. I had assumed the species itself was extinct -- apparently not, but 60 is such a low number. They are indeed living on a knife-edge.
